After years of Jayhawk indoctrination and various excursions to the KU campus in Lawrence,
we finally took the kiddos to the mighty hills of Westwood...
They were appropriately impressed.

Afterwards, we enjoyed legendary Diddy Riese cookies on the beach at Santa Monica.
Hey, whatever it takes to make them dream of UCLA at night!

Oh man! I wish I had known you were gonna be there. I just ordered Bearwear and paid an indecent amount of money on shipping. Oh well...next time. :) So was it great to be back on campus? I have not been back in so long. I miss Ackerman coffee!
It was GREAT to be back. The musty smell in Powell library was JUST RIGHT. And the same "smart gangstas" sitting at the top of Bruin walk with the same music pumping out of the same boom boxes. Definitely a "the more things change, the more they stay the same" type of experience. =)
