On Becoming Parochial

You know you've hit a new cultural low when your spouse comes home and extols the "menu" at the local University Cafeteria, and then excitedly tells you that he can't wait to take YOU there someday. I almost spit out my cookie.

Thankfully, we're going to Kansas City for a little getaway, where I pray he will be reminded of what dining out is supposed to be.

OK - so Brodie told me that Dave had called to get MY phone number for you - so I got on your blog to see if any of your contact info was up there - I am laughing soooo hard- you are hilarious! I went up to get Brodie out of bed to show him so he could laugh with me and he said he'd have to see it another time - so I am here at my computer giggling by myself! I can just picture Dave and the cafeteria food! I am looking forward to talking with you!!!!
much love, Katie M.

oh great, so that's what I have to look forward to?! Let's hope Kansas City will be a renewal of sorts.

ps-we're done in May and candidating in WA state right now! So exciting! We're waiting on the Lord to open doors. Thanks for all your wisdom after KS didn't work out.
